Our review
This guide applies a test-first idea to process documentation. It distinguishes skill types, explains how a trigger description helps discovery, and proposes pressure scenarios that reveal whether an agent actually follows an instruction. It includes notes on structure, concise writing, testing, and revising a skill after observed failures.
Use it when authoring or revising a SKILL.md that other agents will reuse. Skip its full experimental loop for a quick local note with no broader distribution. The guidance is extensive and reflects the maintainer’s workflow; agent runtimes differ in discovery rules and tool access. Verify installation paths for your own platform and prefer real observations over a stylistic checklist.
The folder includes a JavaScript graph rendering helper, examples, and further testing guidance. Some examples involve dispatching subagents and running local commands; their resource use depends on the chosen tests. Read those supporting files before using the optional tools, and do not assume a path from one runtime applies to all.
For installation, open the linked maintainer folder and read its current SKILL.md, license, and supporting files. Copy the complete folder to a skills location your agent documents, or use an installer your agent supports. Begin with a small, low-risk task and confirm that the agent loaded the intended version. Our install guide covers those checks.
