Our review
The skill guides an agent through testing a local web application with Python Playwright. It favors observing the rendered page, discovering selectors, then taking targeted actions and screenshots. A server helper can start and stop one or more development servers while the browser automation runs. Examples show console logging, element discovery, and static HTML checks.
Use it when a visual or interactive bug cannot be answered from source code alone, or when screenshots and browser logs would make a review concrete. Skip it for a pure data function that a small unit test can cover. Browser tests can be brittle when selectors or timing assumptions change, so read the evidence and rerun important cases after edits.
The folder includes Python examples and scripts/with_server.py, which starts local processes. Playwright may download browser binaries during setup depending on the environment. The skill targets local applications; inspect scripts and commands before running them, and avoid pointing a test at a live service without permission.
For installation, open the linked maintainer folder and read its current SKILL.md, license, and supporting files. Copy the complete folder to a skills location your agent documents, or use an installer your agent supports. Begin with a small, low-risk task and confirm that the agent loaded the intended version. Our install guide covers those checks.
