Receiving Code Review

Treat review feedback as a technical claim to understand and verify.

Our review

This skill helps an agent respond to code review without automatically accepting every suggestion or dismissing it. It asks the agent to locate the relevant code, understand the reviewer’s concern, check compatibility and tests, and explain any disagreement with evidence. It also distinguishes direct user instructions from comments made by external reviewers.

Use it when review feedback is unclear, conflicts with requirements, or suggests more work than the issue needs. Skip its longer response pattern for a straightforward correction that is already understood. The guidance can help prevent performative agreement, but it should not turn ordinary review into an adversarial debate. Respect project conventions and resolve uncertainty with the actual reviewer when necessary.

This folder contains only SKILL.md. It mentions GitHub comment replies as an example; posting a reply is an external action requiring normal authorization. No script runs merely by installing the skill. Review any proposed GitHub or test command in the context of the host project.

For installation, open the linked maintainer folder and read its current SKILL.md, license, and supporting files. Copy the complete folder to a skills location your agent documents, or use an installer your agent supports. Begin with a small, low-risk task and confirm that the agent loaded the intended version. Our install guide covers those checks.
