Agent Workflows

Executing Plans

Carry out a written plan in one session with a task ledger and final review.

Our review

This workflow is for a single implementer working through a plan task by task. It explains how to set up a workspace, record progress in a ledger, complete one task with checks, and finish with a broad review. It offers an alternative to per-task subagents when the overhead of repeatedly handing off context would be high.

Use it for a multi-step plan whose tasks fit in one working session. Skip it when there is no plan or when the task needs a different approval workflow. The instructions assume version control, a suitable branch, and supporting scripts from the same repository. They are quite prescriptive; read the host project’s contribution rules before following their exact commands.

The folder includes shell scripts named task-start and task-done, and the SKILL.md refers to workspace and review scripts in a neighboring skill folder. It also discusses Git operations. Inspect the scripts and paths before running them; the listing is a review of the workflow, not an execution or security certification.

For installation, open the linked maintainer folder and read its current SKILL.md, license, and supporting files. Copy the complete folder to a skills location your agent documents, or use an installer your agent supports. Begin with a small, low-risk task and confirm that the agent loaded the intended version. Our install guide covers those checks.
