Brainstorming

Clarify the goal and sketch a design before creative implementation.

Our review

This skill slows the first step of creative work so an agent can discover what the requester actually needs. It asks for context, focused questions, a recap of the intended outcome, and a written design sized to the problem. It also offers a visual companion workflow for showing mockups or diagrams in a browser when words alone are awkward.

Use it when the shape of a feature or product decision is still open. Skip it when a small edit is fully specified and the expected result is already testable. The instruction is emphatic about pausing for design approval; in a fast-moving task that can add unnecessary conversation. Apply the amount of discussion to the uncertainty and do not mistake a design conversation for authorization to publish.

This folder includes JavaScript and shell helper scripts for the optional visual companion, including a local server. Those are not required for every brainstorming session. Inspect them before running and confirm any browser or local-network behavior in your environment. The directory links to source rather than redistributing these files.

For installation, open the linked maintainer folder and read its current SKILL.md, license, and supporting files. Copy the complete folder to a skills location your agent documents, or use an installer your agent supports. Begin with a small, low-risk task and confirm that the agent loaded the intended version. Our install guide covers those checks.
